Barcelona Animation

In this module, I have learnt how to work with cameras in After Effects and have been introduced to the page turn effect.  Our task was to use design a scene, made up of different layer. I have used imagery form a holiday in Barcelona to illustrate my scene which I created initially in Illustrator.

When converting into After Effects, I created a distance between the layers so that the camera will capture each layer after the other. Each layer will appear at different times.

I applied the page turn effect which meant that as the camera reaches the next layer, it appears as though the layers are being opened up.

The texture I have applied to the layers creates a more three dimensional effect than if I was to use a block colour.
